Have your kids been talking about Storybirds? We have been creating digital books on the website, Storybird.com It's easy and fun to do. Writers choose from a variety of art work. They use the art work as inspiration for the story they write. I have asked students to write at least three to four sentences per page, and to be sure that they are telling a story. They can have ten to twenty pages in a book.
Each student has their own ID and password. They may work on these from home, if they wish. Once we have finished publishing our stories, we will put them on our blogs. The following Storybird is one that I wrote last year about my dog, Bailey. I'm posting it here just to let you see a published Storybird.
